Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Pencil Passport is a parent-led printable handwriting product. During validation, we only collect information from parents or guardians who choose to request a preview.
Information we collect
- Parent or guardian email address.
- Optional child stage, such as “entering 1st grade.”
- Preferred adventure theme for product planning.
- Basic technical information such as browser/user-agent, referring page, timestamp, and a hashed IP address for abuse prevention.
Children’s privacy
Pencil Passport is intended to be used by parents or guardians with their children. We do not knowingly collect contact information directly from children, and the validation form is for adults only. During validation, we intentionally avoid collecting child full names, child email addresses, birthdates, school names, or precise location.
How we use information
- To send the requested Pencil Passport preview or launch update.
- To understand which age stages and themes parents are interested in.
- To prevent spam, abuse, or duplicate submissions.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers such as website hosting, database, email, analytics, or payment tools to operate Pencil Passport. Those providers should only process information for the services they provide to us.
Retention
Validation-list information is kept only as long as needed to operate the preview list, evaluate demand, and prepare launch. You can ask us to delete your email from the preview list at any time.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails or request deletion by contacting pencilpassportpreview@gmail.com. When domain email is live, this policy will be updated to use the official support address.
Important note
This policy is a best-practice operational draft for validation and should be reviewed before a paid public launch, especially if Pencil Passport expands to personalization, paid checkout, analytics, international users, or child-specific data.
